Savor the taste of Thai cuisine with Conrad Manila’s Legendary Chefs Series

Conrad Manila launched its Legendary Chefs Series, which features international cuisines from three world-renowned master chefs, last June 21 at Pasay. First up in this lavish gastronomic celebration is Chef Juthakorn “Mink” Suraraksa from Waldorf Astoria Bangkok, who introduced diners’ palates to the distinct and diverse flavors of Thailand at the hotel’s award-winning all-day dining restaurant, Brasserie on 3.

Chef Mink is an accomplished culinary professional with an impressive background in the hospitality industry, particularly in renowned Thailand hotels. With 14 years of culinary experience, Chef Mink currently holds a position of Assistant Executive Sous Chef at Waldorf Astoria Bangkok. He has been an integral part of the hotel’s pre-opening team since February 2018, when he initially joined as a sous chef for banqueting.

“We want our guests, patrons, and food lovers to indulge in a feast of Chef Mink’s meticulously crafted dishes, which the Land of Smiles can best offer,” Conrad Manila General Manager Fabio Berto shared. “This is a one of a kind opportunity to immerse themselves in the luxury of authentic Thai cuisines, right in the heart of Conrad Manila.”

Showcased are Thai favorites Gaeng Massaman Si-Khrong Neua (a rich, heavily spiced Thai curry with braised beef short ribs and potatoes; Gai Golae (coconut milk barbeque chicken), Pla Thod Phrik Grathiam (prawns fried with garlic and pepper); Roasted Suea Rong Hai (grilled beef served alongside dried chili, tamarind dipping sauce and sticky rice); and Tom Yum Goong (Thai hot and sour soup where the iconic flavors come from three herbs), among others.

Not to be missed are the vibrant flavors of the Mixed Seafood Spicy Salad, delightful crunch of the Prawn Cake, and the heavenly sweetness of the Mango Sticky Rice. Each bite transports you to the bustling food markets and fragrant kitchens of Thailand.

Savor Chef Mink’s finest creations during the promotional period at the following rates: Weekday Lunch Special Buffet is available for P1,799 nett (Monday to Friday). Normal rates apply for weekday dinner (Sunday to Thursday at P2,850 nett) and weekend lunch (P2,650 nett for Saturday, P,300 nett for Sunday) and dinner service (P3,250 nett for Friday and Saturday).

To complement your dining experience, Brasserie on 3 also offers enticing add-ons. Choose the unlimited non-alcoholic beverages for PHP 480 nett or elevate your celebration with the unlimited alcoholic beverages offer, including house white or red wine, as well as local beer, for PHP 980 nett.

Legendary Chefs by Conrad Manila is a three-part series, which will celebrate the finest culinary masterpieces by some of the world’s premier chefs every month, from June to August 2023. Next in line are celebrity chef Jereme Leung, who will once again bring new and distinct flavors with your Chinese gastronomic favorites in July, and Chef Valerio Pierantonelli, who will make you fall in love with his Italian signature dishes in August.
