Life’s a beach in Calaguas island

Life is a beach especially when it’s Calaguas. With many millennials looking for a beach that hasn’t struck mainstream appeal, Calaguas definitely delivers. This beautiful island all the way in Camarines Norte will definitely make you want to go there.

White sand, blue waters and a relaxing sanctuary await you about 10 hours away from Manila. We swear that the trip is worth it!

How to get to Calaguas:

By Plane:

Take a flight heading to Naga City, Bicol (Usually takes 1.5 hrs). From the airport, take a tricycle that will take you to the terminal for the vans heading to Daet. Taking a bus is optional but not recommended because of the stopovers. From Daet, you can take a van to Paracle.

By Land:

Take any bus heading to Bicol (approximately 8 hrs travel time). There are terminals in Cubao, Pasay, and Alabang. You can head straight to Daet, or you can save the travel time by stopping at Talobatib in Labo, from there you take a bus to Paracale.

If you want a hassle free travel tour package, I recommend Travel Gear PH for your travel and accommodation. They offer other location besides Calaguas at a very affordable rate.

Here are some photos of the beautiful island of Calaguas:
