True Value kicks off private sale event as thanksgiving to customers

True Value, known for its broad and diversified variety of merchandise in the home improvement line, lawn and garden tools, and automotive supplies, launched a private sale at Shangri-la Plaza in Mandaluyong City last September 22, 2023 as a way of giving thanks and gratitude to its loyal customers.

This one-day private sale offered as much as 70% discounts to its loyal patrons—which included giveaways, activities, snacks and games for their clientele and customers. The Fantastic Vibes Reborn, a jazz band, also belted out mellow tunes while customers shopped.

According to True Value Marketing Manager Carlo Cadorniga, the private sale event is a one-year event for its top stores where their suppliers and vendors provide discounts, gifts, and freebies to loyal customers.

“This is to invite our VIP customers to have a good time,” he said. “We have treats here for them – food, snacks, entertainment, where they can shop to their heart’s desires. This is to encourage them to go back to the store and just enjoy themselves. This day is really for the customers.”

The highlight of the day was the Highest Purchase Promo where the highest spender can choose between a Samsung refrigerator worth P110,000 or a Weber gas grill worth P90,000 for their reward.

Aside from Shangri-la Plaza, True Value will hold other private sales in the following stores: Galleri Cebu on October 13, Alabang on October 26, and Magnolia on November 17. This event was made possible with the support of 15 participating brands from True Value and its partners BDO, Go Rewards, and Dizon Farms.

The True Value private sales event has been going on for more than five years, but paused due to the pandemic in 2020 and 2021.
