Amigo promises to take each delivery further

by Althea Kalalo / January 27, 2021

As Filipinos slowly settle into 2021, the need for physical distancing and virtual interactions remains a reality. But that doesn’t stop people from showing each other they care — from e-numans and online movie nights to sending each other care packages they can enjoy as they stay at home. Deliveries in particular have become such an important part of day to day life in the now normal, and in more ways than one, they can connect people who can’t be together at the moment.

Have you been looking for the perfect on-demand delivery service that you can rely on for quick, efficient, and affordable services? You’re in luck, because Project Move Inc. has just launched a service that may be exactly what you need.

A new Amigo in town

Last January, Filipinos were introduced to Amigo, the latest on-demand delivery service that caters to different delivery needs through a seamlessly convenient application and fairly-priced service. At the heart of Amigo’s operations is the goal to uplift Filipino lives by providing an inclusive and dependable service for its customers, partner merchants, and partner riders.

“Amigo was inspired by the hard work that countless Filipinos put in everyday, and it was established so that we can do our part and extend a helping hand to all of our stakeholders. Amigo is more than just a business for us — we want it to be a reliable partner who goes the extra mile for Filipinos,”  said Matthew Siy Cha, Founder and President of Amigo.

The company also believes that something affordable does not necessarily mean it is bad, as it’s fairly-priced service is anchored on providing high quality service without compromising the customer experience.

A unique delivery experience

Amigo makes customer convenience a top priority, from a booking process that takes as little steps as possible to flexible booking times and an option for both cash and cashless transactions, where customers can opt for COD, credit/debit card, and even their PayMaya account. For any queries or concerns, the Amigo Chat provides customers real-time communication with riders or a customer support agent, where they can send their location or images all within the Amigo app.

Amigo also makes deliveries more efficient with the option to book a delivery ahead of time, as far as a month ahead! Additionally, customers can have up to 20 drop-offs for one booking. When it comes to package security, Amigo also has real-time tracking of riders and a security code feature that ensures package security. This helps ease the mind of customers, and assures them that the packages they send out arrive at the right locations and are given to the right people. Amigo’s platform also ensures its customers’ information and personal details are kept safely and cannot be accessed by riders upon completion of a delivery.

Amigo for every Filipino

Project Move Inc. started planning the business model of Amigo in December 2019. They spent the entirety of 2020 developing, testing, and refining the application. Following the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on businesses, customers, and riders, the company gained more insights on how Amigo’s services can be improved further to serve Filipinos. It also inspired them to fast track planning, development, and its launch.

The Amigo app will be available for download come second week of February 2021, and to help customers start the year right,  they can use the promo code BAGONGAMIGO to get Php50 off their first Amigo booking. This promo is valid until the end of February 2021, and is applicable to deliveries made within Metro Manila.

“Delivery isn’t a one-way street, and through Amigo, we want to create a harmonious delivery experience for everyone involved. Whether they’re busy customers looking for convenience, hard working businesses looking for a reliable logistics partner, or partner riders looking for new opportunities, Amigo is here to take Filipinos further as they journey through 2021 and beyond,” said Siy Cha.
