There’s magic in candles at La Luna Witchery

There are times wherein you can’t help but hope for a little magic in your life. Something like having a day where everything aligns, bumping into someone at the perfect time, or getting a sign from the universe about something you’ve been thinking about for a while.

What you might not know is that you can create magic for yourself. With clear intentions in your mind and a steady commitment to your goals, anything is possible. This is partly what inspired sisters Marys and Mayren Guico to create La Luna Witchery.

La Luna Witchery is an online shop that sells Tarot-inspired products with the goal of providing holistic healing. Their offerings currently center on intention candles, which take regular scented candles to the next level. Intention candles aren’t just for creating a relaxing atmosphere or enjoying your favorite scents – they can actually inspire you to start creating the life you want for yourself.

“Our intention candles can help you manifest your goals and desires through the help of essential oils, herbs, healing stones, and crystals. These candles illuminate your intention, and when you meditate on them, they send out your message and your energy into the Universe. This clears out any looming negative energy and gives you a clearer vision of what you want,” shared Marys and Mayren.

La Luna Witchery has five different candles that customers can choose from, each having a different purpose and assisting unique intentions:

Wonder

Been feeling down lately? Then Wonder is the perfect candle for you. This soothing candle features the Black Tourmaline stone, which helps you protect your energy. Wonder also cleanses, purifies, and transforms any unwanted energy into a lighter vibration, which encourages new beginnings and positivity in your life.

Aside from spreading positivity to their customers, Marys and Mayren also hope to shed light on some misconceptions surrounding Tarot and intention candles. One of these is that Tarot involves the devil, or that it’s evil. For Marys, that couldn’t be further away from the truth. “Tarot and intention candles are meant to give you clarity and guide you through the challenges you may face in life. It lets you know yourself so that you can better see the path you’re meant to be on. What’s evil about that?”

Mayren also wants to remind people that intention candles don’t magically give its owner his or her heart’s desires. Rather, they aid in the process of self discovery. “You need to make the first step towards the goals you have. That means looking within and making inspired actions toward a renewed life. Intention candles are meant to inspire you and motivate you, but at the end of the day, only you have the power to make your goals into reality.”

As their business continues to grow, Marys and Mayren remain driven to help others heal, gain clarity, and make their dreams a reality. “We hope our page can be the space where you see the potential of what the Universe can provide when you focus on being the greatest version of yourself. We also believe that all of us here have a role to play in making our reality what we want it to be, so let’s be one in this journey!”

La Luna Witchery is set to release mists next, which you’ll be able to find on their store by the end of June. Marys also has a grand giveaway planned for the first week of July to celebrate her Tarot reading anniversary, where participants have the chance to win La Luna Witchery candles and other exciting prizes. Make sure to keep an eye out for it on the Facebook and Instagram pages of The High Priestess!
