ABS-CBN Corp. confirmed on October 6 that some of their shows and movies will be airing on the newly rebranded Zoe TV 11, A2Z channel 11, beginning October 10.

This includes noontime shows such as It’s Showtime and ASAP Natin ‘To. The full line-up of shows that will air has yet to be announced.

“ABS-CBN and Zoe are committed to work together to provide entertainment, public service programs, and educational content to the public,” ABS-CBN Corp. said in a statement.

A2Z TV 11 is a free TV channel available on analog TV in Metro Manila and nearby provinces. It can also be viewed via Sky Cable (channel 11) and Cignal TV (channel 183).

Zoe Broadcasting Network Inc., founded by Bro. Eddie Villanueva, stated that A2Z TV 11 will serve as the home of “the newest TV experience for Filipinos” as it aims to deliver “relevant, informative, and entertaining content geared toward spiritual strengthening”.

With its rebranded VHF channel, A2Z will provide its viewers “uplifting and inspiring shows of life, love, and hope,” educational programs, local and foreign movies, some of ABS-CBN well-loved shows through a blocktime arrangement and programs from licensors such as Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN Asia), Knowledge Channel, and others. Select programs from Zoe’s Light TV 33 will also air on A2Z.

ABS-CBN’s shares surged on October 5 when rumors circulated that the media company signed a deal with Zoe TV as a means to bring back their content on free television, following a government shutdown.

In July, the House Committee on Legislative Franchises denied ABS-CBN’s franchise renewal, which led to their permanent shutdown. ABS-CBN has since been focusing on maintaining visibility with select news and entertainment programs available online via Kapamilya Online Live on YouTube and Facebook, and on cable and satellite TV via the Kapamilya Channel.
