Opportunities for Filipinos enabled by Converge

Working from home has essentially surged across the country to ensure business continuity for many companies and sustain the income of many Filipinos. With it is the increased demand for fast and reliable connectivity for consistent productivity.

The government has also ramped up the processes in different local government units to hasten the approval of telco towers in support of this growing work arrangement to enhance Opportunities for Filipinos. Similarly, Converge ICT announced that it is likewise strengthening its customer support services by tapping FBC Asia Pacific and Pilipinas Teleserv, Inc. This move is deemed to be a win for many Filipinos who are still looking for jobs, given the impact of the pandemic in various industries.

“As we grow our business, we want to make sure that our subscribers continue to have an excellent after sales customer experience,” said Converge ICT Founder and Chief Executive Officer Dennis Anthony Uy. “We continue to grow our team but we recognize that we can scale quickly by partnering with BPOs so we can quickly fill in the growing demand of our customers. Consequently, some of the BPOs we chose have been long-time clients already. I think growth is better felt when it is shared.”

Alongside major local telcos, Converge has been accelerating customer experience resource augmentation to optimize service delivery systems and improve customer support capabilities to address growing consumer requirements. It has also been aggressive in increasing its crew of fiber optic technicians to ensure serviceable applications are installed and activated right away this way they have provided Opportunities for Filipinos.
