The IT and Business Process Association of the Philippines (IBPAP) announced several of its members were named in Great Place To Work’s Philippines Best Workplaces 2024 list.

Great Place To Work, a “global authority in workplace culture” according to its website, helps organizations quantify workplace culture and see positive results in business metrics by fostering a “high-trust work experience for all employees.”

Great Place To Work has been awarding exceptional companies in the Philippines through its Best Workplaces list since 2022. In partnership with IBPAP, it also released a list of Best Workplaces in IT-BPM in 2023. See here the full list of Philippines Best Workplaces 2024.

This year, IBPAP said its members that are among the winners in the Large category (with 1,000 or more employees) are Synchrony, Accenture, Lexmark Research and Development Corporation, Teleperformance, Capital One, DXC Technology, and CGI Philippines, Inc.

For the Medium category (100 to 999 employees), included in the winners are Via Appia Philippines, Inc., GM Philippines, Inc., Lingaro Philippines, Inc., Amadeus Marketing Philippines, S.C. Johnson Philippines ROHQ, and Thumbtack Shared Services Philippines, Inc.

In the Small category (30 to 99 employees), among the winners is Limitless Connect PH Inc. In addition to the IBPAP member companies, 11 other IT-BPM firms have also been recognized for their outstanding workplace environments.

“As we celebrate our recognition as the Philippines’ Best Workplaces, I invite skilled Filipino professionals, not just those in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics), to join us in shaping a future defined by collective success through fostering excellence and innovation,” said IBPAP President and CEO Jack Madrid.

New COO

Last March, IBPAP also announced in a press release its newly appointed Chief Operating Officer, Celeste Ilagan.

IBPAP said Ilagan has been a “key figure in shaping policies and regulatory frameworks to bolster the Philippine IT-BPM sector.” She previously served as the association’s Chief Policy & Regulatory Affairs Officer.

“Celeste’s deep background, especially her direct involvement in policy and regulatory affairs, equips her with the unique insights and strategic vision vital for IBPAP’s mission. I am confident in her ability to co-lead our Roadmap 2028 initiatives in talent, infrastructure, and ease of doing business, driving innovation and growth within the IT-BPM industry,” said Madrid.

IBPAP added that Ilagan’s over 25 years of extensive experience include a significant tenure with SPi Global, where she led initiatives that elevated the company’s market presence. Her industry and government relations efforts strengthened the company’s stature and influence.
