We don’t need snow and mistletoe to have a merry Christmas in Manila! With these light displays synchronized with our favorite Christmas songs what more can we ask for?! These are the places in Manila that you can visit for synchronized light shows and displays.

Festival of Lights at Ayala Triangle

Have a merry wonderful time watching beautiful Christmas lights glisten in Ayala Triangle Gardens! Plan a day out or go do your Christmas shopping early with your friends, family and loved ones then after, head out to Makati to see the spectacle of 1.6 million dancing LED lights in Ayala Triangle! The show start at 6 pm up to 10 pm with a 30 minute set for each medleys.

TIPS:

– Parking is always a challenge in Makati but fortunately there’s P2P (Point to point bus) both from northern metro and southern metro, and we highly suggest you commute to avoid the dreadful traffic of the busiest city in Metro Manila.

– Although the place is surrounded with restaurants it can easily get crowded because of the number of people visiting the place, be sure to make reservations ahead of time or perhaps you can bring baon!

– Don’t forget to bring your cameras and best pose as these lights are really pretty and Instagram worthy!

Ayala Mall Vertis’ Northern Lights

If you live in the northern side of the metro get ready cause’ you’re in for a treat! Ayala Mall’s Vertis recently launched their north version of  Christmas attraction with beautiful LED lights dancing to different Christmas medleys! Ayala Northern Lights is open daily from 6 pm to 8 pm till January 8, 2018.

TIPS:

– Be sure to bring your cameras so you can take awesome selfies!

– Since it’s within the premise of a mall food won’t be a problem.

Meralco Christmas Village

Located in Ortigas Center, Pasig Mandaluyong, you can drop by the Meralco head office and see their beautiful display of Christmas lights! The place is perfect if you want to have a walk in the park and at the same take photos or selfies and have beautiful Christmas lights as your background. The display starts at 6 pm on wards and entrance is for free but you might need to bring an ID to get in.

TIPS:

– There are parking spaces near the Meralco office but the roads leading to the place can be congested by traffic. There are other parking spaces near the area and you can just walk to the office.

– Walking to the place isn’t hard as well just be sure to wear comfortable clothes or shoes for that matter.

BONUS:
Nuvali’s Magical Field of Lights

Merry wonder land you say? Head down to Sta. Rosa and check out the 3,600-square-meter field of Christmas lights in Nuvali Laguna. Yes this one is not in Metro Manila but the short travel to SLEX is worth all your time! You get to see a beautiful view as you walk down Nuvali’s park filled with tulips like Christmas lights dancing to different medleys that also feature classic OPM Christmas songs like “Kumukutikutap” by Ryan Cayabyab. The show runs for 30 mins each per medley from 6 pm to 10 pm daily.

TIPS:

– Nuvali is also surrounded with a lot of establishments and amenities that is sufficient for all the visitors. Just be sure to pick before or plan ahead on which restaurant you’re going to be eating in. If you can make reservations please do so to avoid losing chairs and tables.

– If you don’t feel like driving to Nuvali there’s actually a P2P service from Makati to Nuvali that you can explore.

– Be patient when taking photos as there are a lot of people visiting the park as well.

With all these options be sure pick the places nearest to where you live or work but if you’re feeling adventurous why not visit them all? Tag or share this to a friend you who loves Christmas light shows!
