Filipinos love giving gifts as much as receiving them that’s why we like shopping and that is also why we love going to Christmas Bazaars! Since we enjoy em’ so much places like these tends to be super crowded in turn surviving a day shopping can be tough, so here’s our guide to help you carry on and get through the day still in one piece!
Look it up on the internet! Find out which Christmas Bazaar you’re going to be visiting first and also try to know what are the amenities surrounding the area, like parking lots. Find out also the time of opening of the venue, and find out the sellers or brands participating in the event.
Christmas day is nearing so at this point commuting or finding parking can be quite a challenge so planning ahead is a must. Be sure to assign who’s bringing the car, where you are parking, and how early you should leave to shop.
Today you will be shopping, and most probably you will be buying gifts for more than two people so bring your sturdiest shopping katsa bag! Gone are the days of sack looking katsa bags! They are now fashionable and can be found easily in almost every shopping mall in your area. Just be sure to buy the one you fancy the best.
Spare you feet from the bruises! Of course if you’re shopping you’re gonna walk, and walk, and probably walk some more. You want to explore your options and make sure you spend wisely, doing so may require you to walk around a lot so wear your most comfortable sneakers!
Walking can make you sweat! In case you sweat easily and a lot too, be sure to bring an extra shirt that you can easily roll and tuck inside a small bag. Go with plain white shirts, they’re comfortable to wear and is usually made with more breathable materials, plus it’s easy to match with whatever trousers you’re wearing.
Bring a small bag that you can wear at the front part of your body. Bags such as sling bags or fanny packs are most recommend for shopping since you can it close to your hands and safeguarding your belongings will be much easier.
To avoid lining up to withdraw for money do it before your shopping day! You don’t want to line up for hours now, do ya? It saves you the hassle of lining up and will give you more time for shopping. Now, when you get out of the office (or wherever you are) withdraw to the first ATM you see!
Make your day fun by bringing a friend! This way you won’t get bored and someone can actually help you carry an extra bag of presents for you! You get to have a company and an extra hand with your baggage.
Leave your favorite tumbler at home and bring a disposable water bottle instead! This way you can quench your thirst easily then if you’re already carrying a lot of things you can dispose of the plastic bottle when you need to. Don’t litter though and dispose of your trash properly!
