Capturing authenticity with OPPO’s #27EmotionsChallenge

Over the past year, content creation and consumption experienced a huge leap as everyone stayed at home and flocked to the digital space for work, school, entertainment, and more. It is also during this time when consumers have become drawn to more meaningful connections when experiencing a brand and its offerings, raising the need to not only focus on selling but highlighting the value of authenticity.
Among the brands that are continuing to push for authenticity, especially in content creation, is OPPO. As it is set to launch its newest offering from the Reno Series, many personalities have taken to social media to showcase their emotions through the #27EmotionsChallenge.
Showcasing the capabilities of the upcoming OPPO Reno6, social media stars Dasuri Choi, Jessica Yang, and Yanyan de Jesus posted a collage of selfies, representing their range of feelings and were captioned with a personal story about their pandemic and lockdown stress as well as their feelings of gratitude, enlightenment, and excitement for their continued growth.
The #27EmotionsChallenge is a call to share one’s most authentic self through real and unfiltered emotions captured in portraits. OPPO also released 27 Emotions Filter on Instagram and Facebook that Filipinos can try out to capture portraits of their stories and emotions.
Celebrities James Reid and Nadine Lustre kicked off the OPPO Reno6 series campaign earlier this month with their own portraits on Instagram. Little has been said about the campaign but the brand promises more emotions captured in portraits as the launch continues to be underway.
