Beach Destinations for a Perfect Summer Adventure!

You must be tired from working eight hours a day, five days a week. Plus, overtime can be dreadful. And then there’s the traffic that drains your patience every day! City life can be exciting but sometimes you just get fed up.

Well, maybe it’s time to take a break! Treat yourself to some “me time” to keep you going. Everyone needs time to unwind, relax, and rejuvenate. Spend time with your family and friends, because reconnecting with these people helps you with motivation and inspiration. Get out and experience the beauty of nature. Here are some one of the best beach destinations in the country!

Jomalig Island

Known for its golden sand, Jomalig island has captured the hearts of tourists. It’s located at the easternmost part of Polillo Islands in Quezon Province. The innate beauty of this island and its people make it irresistible to travelers. Surrounded by rich turquoise waters, it’s the perfect place for an escape from the city. Jomalig’s distinct appeal is due to its raw beauty, the pride of “Jomaligins”. Called the Philippines’ ‘Golden Paradise,’ you’ll fall in love not just with this island, but its people too.

Prepare yourself for approximately four hours of land travel from Manila, then a four- to six-hour boat ride. It may be exhausting but one thing’s for sure, it’s all worth it. Due to increasing number of tourists, there are now more resorts that can accommodate you if you want to visit.

Sila Island

The Philippines is full of white, fine beaches that attract tourists from across the globe, but nature has more to offer! Sila Island in Northern Samar will mesmerize you with its pink sand, which is made through a mixture of white sand and the crushed remains of shells and coral.

Since it’s not an established island-resort, there are no hotel accommodations. Instead, they have bamboo kiosks. But don’t worry! There are toilets for your comfort too. You’ll have to bring your own food and drinks, since there are no stores or commercial establishments near the beach. It’s one of those places where you can have a peaceful, relaxing vacay away from the rest of the world.

Bitaog Beach

This hidden paradise in Parongpong Island, Catanduanes should be on your bucket list! It’s one of the islands in the Philippines that remains undeveloped and uncommercialized, allowing you to experience raw nature. But it takes a lot of time and strength to get to this place! There’s forest and mountain trekking, river crossings, and more, until you reach the destination.

Once you get there, it’s the perfect place to de-stress because of its calming silence and serenity. All you can hear are the waves of the ocean, as you enjoy the feeling of sand under your feet.

Witness and experience the beauty of nature at its finest with these beach destinations. What are you waiting for? Pack your things now!
