As the sun set on Taguig last January 14, the vibrant hues of art and the inviting aroma of dishes rose at The Blue Leaf Pavilion, where the return of Who’s Cooking: Artistic Appetites unraveled new flavors.

The multi-sensory experience showcasing the collaboration of artists and caterers served up extraordinary masterpieces that delight both eyes and palate. It will be exclusively available to The Blue Leaf clients in the first quarter of 2024, according to a release.

The dynamic duos that marked the return of Who’s Cooking were Juan Carlo and abstract artist Chico Cristobal, Bizu and tattoo artist Maan Simbajon, Tjioe and knitter Candy Reyes-Alipio, Passion Cooks and muralist Kara Pangilinan, Moment Catering and sculptor Mateo Cacnio, Hizon’s Catering and visual artist Anna Bautista, and K by Cunanan and multidisciplinary artist Anina Rubio.

Among the standouts of the night was the Champoradong Puti by K by Cunanan and Anina Rubio, made from adlai, auro white chocolate, dried mango, cashew, and patis caramel.

The artists and caterers broke norms and went beyond expectations with how they blended flavors and expression as a demonstration of the infinite possibilities that come from the combination of culinary expertise and creative genius.

According to The Blue Leaf, the pairing of artists and caterers started last December, bonding over stories and inspirations before starting the meticulous process of crafting their signature dishes.

This year’s edition of Who’s Cooking: Artistic Appetites followed the success of Who’s Cooking in August 2019, which saw a collaboration of 11 caterers and 11 renowned chefs.
