TeamAsia Founder and President Monette Hamlin-Iturralde, also known as MIH, has been named one of the Top 30 Leaders on LinkedIn in the Philippines, serving as a testament to her influential presence and impactful contributions in the professional landscape.

Previously, MIH was also recognized as one of the Top 100 Most Influential FIlipino Women on LinkedIn.

LinkedIn, the world’s largest professional network, annually identifies and celebrates individuals who stand out for their thought leadership, industry expertise, and commitment to driving positive change. LinkedIn aims to recognize competent Filipino leaders on the platform who have demonstrated key traits and characteristics that have led to great workplaces, engaged employees, and great results through integrity, malasakit (compassion), courage, inspiration, and resilience.

MIH expressed gratitude for the recognition, saying, “I am honored and humbled to be recognized as one of the Top 30 Leaders on LinkedIn in the Philippines. This acknowledgment is not just a personal achievement but a reflection of the incredible community of professionals and thought leaders I have had the privilege to engage with on this platform.”

With a career marked by next-level experiences, MIH has consistently demonstrated a commitment to excellence and a passion for education, women empowerment, and diversity. Her thought-provoking content, insightful commentary, and dedication to fostering meaningful connections have set her apart in the professional realm.

“Leading by example is a given, and what better way for leaders to guide others than to share what they are doing on LinkedIn, particularly in their industries, their perspectives on current events, their best practices and wins and even their challenges and how they handle them. Seeing a leader face difficult times and come out strong while taking care of their people and companies is very inspiring,” she said.

She added, “Leaders who are not afraid to speak out on sensitive issues and support those who have no voice, are particularly inspiring. By having the courage to speak out when wrong is done, and by having integrity to always do the right thing even when no one is watching sets a great example to others.”

MIH told The Red Circle that leaders can feel lonely at the top, so it is important to find your tribe, your inner circle, your safe space. “We all need some sort of support system to keep emotionally, mentally, and spiritually healthy. I am fiercely proud of my tribe. They remind me to put on my oxygen mask first, so I can continue to take care of others,” she said.

MIH’s inclusion in the Top 30 Leaders on LinkedIn in the Philippines reflects not only her individual achievements but also her impact on the broader professional community. Her dedication to her causes aligns with the ethos of LinkedIn as a platform for fostering meaningful connections and driving professional growth.
