Everybody loves waking up to a good breakfast. Smelling those freshly cooked eggs, the smell of bacon, and of course the pancakes! But sometimes there are a few little bumps that can be a bit annoying, like trying to slice through a cold butter or over-pouring of cooking oil and spilling it everywhere. Here are 4 simple ways to make preparing your breakfast extra special.
COLD BUTTER
We all know that slicing butter can be a bit challenging when it just came out of the fridge. But did you know that using a vegetable peeler can easily get the job done? Now get the toaster ready!
DIY COOKING SPRAY
When cooking pancakes it’s important to properly evenly spread oil in the pan so the batter wont stick and burn. Pouring cooking oil straight from the bottle can sometimes lead to pouring too much or not enough. By using a spray bottle and filling it up with oil can help you get the job done much faster. Put 1 part cooking oil and 5 parts water, be sure to give it a shake before spraying. Now that’s cooking pancakes in style.
THE PERFECT PANCAKE
Having troubles pouring the pancake mix on the cooking pan? Put the batter in an empty ketchup container (we prefer Heinz because the size and shape is just perfect) and start squeezing out that pancake mixture to achieve the perfectly shaped pancake!
EGG HACK
You’re in a hurry and you don’t have time to set up the stove, or for some reason you just don’t want to use the pan, then here’s what you can do. Get a microwavable plate, cover the surface of it with butter, crack the egg open to the plate, and put a small hole at the center the yolk (so the egg won’t explode), then place it in the microwave. Put the microwave on medium heat, then heat for 3 mins. If it doesn’t cook just add another minute or two.
CEREAL MILK
Don’t you just love it whenever you finish your cereal and you get to drink the sweet milk drink leftover? So, why not just make a drink out of it instead! Here’s how you can “DIY” your own Cereal Milk:
Viola! Enjoy your cereal milk!
