Looking for a new gaming console? Here’s why the Nintendo Switch might work for you.
Gamers are always looking for the next platform. Have you thought about the Nintendo Switch?
Handheld devices like the Game Boy or the PSP or PS Vita had some success, but none of them hold as much ground as the Nintendo Switch.
The Nintendo Switch puts console-level gaming in the hands of players everywhere. It’s mobile, accessible, and powerful, and you can share to a home TV system to get that console feel. And you can access a vast selection of games including Legends of Zelda, Fortnite, Mortal Kombat 11. Even Skyrim made it a must-have option.
The Switch can be used by two players when you split the gamepad into two smaller controllers. This is perfect for fighting games such as Mortal Kombat or Street Fighter. On its own, it can run the more powerful adventure or role-playing games once limited to bulky consoles. Imagine playing Skyrim while lying in bed. RPG heaven!
Gaming companies and titles are now finding ways to add their games to the Nintendo Switch library. These games were announced at the recently concluded E3.
1. Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled
Die-hard fans of the classic Crash Bandicoot series will surely love this new addition to the Nintendo Switch. Expect fuel-pumping racing action with all your favorite characters and tracks from the world of Crash Bandicoot, fully-remastered for handheld gaming.
2. The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening
The classic Zelda game moves from the Gameboy to the Switch! Fans of the series will enjoy this trip down memory lane as they wait for the sequel for ‘Breath of the Wild’.
3. Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order
It’s not the end for the Avengers when it comes to the Switch. The latest in the Marvel Ultimate Alliance series pits Earth’s Mightiest Heroes against Thanos’ Black Order in the hunt for the Infinity Stones.
4. Resident Evil 5 and 6
It might be less scary to play Resident Evil on the smaller screen of the Switch, which totally works for some players! This will give RE fans their dose of zombie mayhem anywhere and anytime they want.
5. Pokemon Sword & Shield
For those who have to ‘catch em all’, Pokemon Sword & Shield is almost here! Fans of the franchise have been eagerly awaiting the latest installment in the Pokemon Universe.
Whether you’re catching the newest Pokemon, building castles in Minecraft, or shooting down the enemy in Fortnite, the gamer life is an exciting life. And with the Nintendo Switch poised to be the industry’s leading portable console, the battle for supremacy has just gotten a whole lot tougher.
