1.Feanne

Looking for fashionable scarves and kimonos? Feanne Hontiveros Mauricio is a Filipina artist based in Manila. Her works revolve around her detailed freehand illustrations which are use for print, surface, and pattern design on fabrics, wearable art, kimonos, and scarves that are perfect for any occasion.

2. Rosenthal Tee

This young Filipina designer sure knows how to make the best bridal gown. She also designs luxurious evening gowns. Rosenthal Tee studied Management Economics at the Ateneo De Manila University, then pursued fashion design education at the Istituto Marangoni in London. She also took up short courses at Central Saint Martins and London College of Fashion.

Rosenthal’s designs are said to embody the soul and spirit of adventure and have a strong sense of femininity. Her pieces usually involve a strong play of texture and shine with bows, feathers, and fringes.

3.Carl Jan Cruz

After studying at the London College of Fashion and interning at Phoebe Philo-era Céline, this young Filipino designer came back to Manila to start his own brand. His pieces usually involve Filipino visual motifs that are universally appealing. He also divided his collection into three: PambahayPang-alis, and Pang-okasyon.

His works are said to be very visual and very personal. His edgy, innovative, and fresh pieces have brought him international  attention. If you want something that’s unique and luxurious, and embodies your Filipino roots, then Carl Jan Cruz is perfect for you.

4. Betina Ocampo

Her father is a businessman and her mother is a model, but this young designer made a name for herself. Betina Ocampo launched her clothing brand, Betina, in 2012, with casual yet luxurious womenswear and a shoe line for all occasions.

She focuses on luxury handmade shirts with intricate embroidery and patchwork designs inspired by Filipino indigenous communities. She aims to embody the “East meets West” lifestyle in her collections. Betina Ocampo is the designer you’re looking for if you want clothes with unique statements.

5. Len Cabili

Having grown up in Mindanao, Len Cabili’s love for the Philippine culture and fashion led to the discovery of Filip + Inna. Her works are known for their intricately woven and embroidered designs which are made from local fabrics and weaves.

She makes an effort to personally work with expert weavers and embroiderers from diverse groups in the Philippines. Her pieces take time to finish because she does not pressure her artisans, as she understands that they have family and community obligations. She also values quality over quantity.
