4 Ideas for Your Summer Wedding

The summer season is here and that means weddings in Manila with caterings that have a tropical, beach, or often generally summer themes. The Philippines is a tropical country, so you can’t rule out that some weddings in outdoor venues will experience the excruciating heat. But that also means that so many more other wedding themes have just become viable!

The summer is only starting, and if you and your significant other really love the feel of it, then maybe you would want to get married in the summertime? Here are four ideas for a great summer wedding!

Twinkling Summer Nights

Not necessarily taking advantage of the great sceneries and brightly lit outdoor venues, but instead making the most of the stable weather — a wedding outdoors and at night is both a unique and very relaxing option for you.

The night sky will be such a great view, especially since there shouldn’t be any significant cloud formations blocking them. Extra points come in if you do the wedding in a place far from the city — you’ll have a much better viewing experience of the great nightscape.

Beach Weddings

Who said you can’t wear a wedding gown to the beach? Yes, it’s going to be extremely hot during the main ceremony, but for the reception and maybe even the afterparty, the beach is perfect!

For an even better wedding, you can make sure that your venue is well stocked with beach refreshments and a tropical feast. Many caterings in Manila are willing to provide customized menus so you just have to find the best one for you!

Going Blue

The color scheme of your wedding is something that is crucial. It will accentuate the wedding dress, the venue décor, and it can even go as far as be the main defining factor of your wedding. For the summer, a great color motif would be blue — different shades of blue would add variety but a focus on one can really create a unique aesthetic appeal to the whole event. Highly suggested shades of blue include teal, turquoise, navy blue, and cornflower.

Sunset Weddings

It’s a light trend these days that weddings ceremonies are done so that the exact time they kiss, the sunset is right in front of them. It’s an event that is fairly easy to time. However, be careful and make sure that your team of photographers and videographers are well organized enough to capture the sight as soon as it enters.

Timing is crucial with sunset weddings, and often this can be a supplement to other styles of weddings — but just the visuals that being married as the sun is starting to set, that is something that will be embedded in the memories of everyone that witnessed it.

Summer is a great season for weddings — particularly outdoor ones because you won’t necessarily have to worry about the rain. The only thing that will be on your way is the heat of the sun and there are so many things that you can do to get around that. Be inspired by the list of cool summer wedding ideas that we have above for your own wedding!
